When I operate with climate controls (for example adjust temperature) nothing is shown in MMI screen. My climate control looks like this on picture. Everything works, but
Feb 28, 2017 路 I just imported the digital climate control to upgrade the analog control that is default in my A4 2018. But reading this thread, it caught me by susprise, as the discussion suggests that the upgrade is not possoble. Any one was able to solve this puzzle withot going mad or changing the whole A/C system and spending billions of dollars?
Oct 12, 2007 路 You'll find the vacuum actuated valve on the driver's side of the heater box. Fire up the engine and let the coolant get hot. You should have both heater hoses hot as well. If the one going through the valve is hot and the bottom heater hose isn't, you know either the valve is closed, or the heater core is plugged.

Jul 13, 2020 路 The desolder/resolder process was something I had been looking into for a J519 module that I used for a headlight facelift conversion. The issue that I found with the J519 is that there are two 8-pin EEPROMs on it. I can鈥檛 tell which one is for the component protection. The module I鈥檓 referring to is P/N: 4F0907279D S/W: 4F0910279AH.
Nov 10, 2018 路 Using VCDS, check the Convenience module or do a complete AUTO scan. If the Climate Control Module is failing, that should trip a DTC, which in turn would tell you the possible items to check for a defective part and/or wiring issue.
Nov 8, 2007 路 A4 (B6 Platform) Discussion - Swap HVAC Controller - Basic settings - I swapped HVAC controller because the old one had the recirc led on all the time. The rear defog won't work on the new unit. When you release the button, the light goes off. I will tear the thing out and check all the connectors.
